Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!
What Do You See Outside YOUR Open Window Today?
Remember: "When God closes a door, He always opens a window!" You never know what might be out there waiting for you!

Light of the World~Thursday Morning Worship and Praise!
We have another beautiful "moonrise" this morning here on Still Waters Pond. As I stepped out into the darkness to see this sight before it fades away into daylight, my heart was filled with joy and wonder. I know, it's just the moon you might say...but when I think about how God placed the moon and stars in the heavens for us to enjoy, well, I have to say I was overcome with thankfulness and a sense of God's presence right here with us.
I couldn't help but start singing the song our choir sang for the anthem this past Sunday, "Here I Am to Worship". I don't have a recording of us singing it, but here it is with the "Maranatha Singers" for you to listen to while you enjoy these pictures taken this morning at 6:30 a.m. on Still Waters Pond.
6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,
7 All sheep and oxen—
Even the beasts of the field,
8 The birds of the air,
And the fish of the sea
That pass through the paths of the seas.
(The Sand Hill Crane Family Came by for a visit recently)
9 O Lord, our Lord,
How excellent is Your name in all the earth!
Sunset, Wednesday afternoon
Sunrise, Thursday morning
Thank you for singing along with me on this glorious Thursday morning. I know this is two days in a row of moon pictures, but these beauties are only here for a short time and then they go away for another month...so I hope you don't mind enjoying God's glorious creation in the heavenlies with me for another day. I'll get back to the mundane things of life soon enough, but for now, let's just be thankful for the gifts God gives us to enjoy while they last.
Its been a while since I heard this song and it is perfect with your photos. I could have sung this today when walking Beau. we had 3 stunning moons when we got up the last 3 days, today it was a one hour storm, but wow, what a sunrise followed the storm. we were headed west and the sky was stunning in colors, when we turned to go home, towards the EAST , well the photos I took sound just like this song.
Beautiful photos and you picked just the right song and scriptures to compliment them! I loved seeing the Sandhill family again! Still sad that they lost one of the babies. Have a lovely day full of blessings, Pam! xo
Danny and I have sung that song in contemporary worship services many, many times, Pamela, and it is certainly one that we both love. Your photos fit the lyrics and scripture perfectly! Have a blessed day!
P.S. I just wrote a column about the little church in the Dale. I loved the little churches up the lanes and the homecomings. Singing sand preaching the old fashioned away. This column reminded me. Brenda
I don't mind at all !!! God's amazing creations fill me with wonder. I wasn't up early enough to witness this myself, so thank you. I haven't heard this song in ages. I will be singing it all day long. Sue
How these images and music fill my heart! Isn't it nice to realize, when we look up to the skies, wherever they are, our friends are also looking up. All together!
Beautiful photos of the clouds, the moon and the night sky. I remember this song from a long time ago. Thanks for blessing us with this beautiful post.
Thank you for visiting here today. I would love for you to sign my guestbook and let me know you stopped by. I always enjoy reading your comments and words of encouragement! May you be blessed as you go on your way. Please come back and visit again soon.
Beautiful uplifting blog...thank you.
