Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!

I Will Rise - A Morning Meditation
I Will Rise
There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say "It is well"
Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise
There's a day that's drawing near
When this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes
Jesus has overcome
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise
And I hear the cry of every longing heart,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I hear the voice of many angels sing,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I hear the cry of every longing heart,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise
I hope you enjoyed this morning meditation. It was really a special time with the Lord for me. Praying it was also meaningful to you.
(Note: The Eagle and "Angel Cloud" pictures are from previous posts in the past, but I thought the pictures fit the message. All other pictures are from this morning's meditation on the dock)

ReplyDeleteI like this line!
The eagle is stunning! How did you get that shot?
What happened to my response...I am sure I responded to this...anyway, that eagle picture was from the past...He was waiting for us to pass so he could get back to the fresh road kill on the road. Amazing, huh?!
DeleteI love that song, Pam. At least they left the radio on a good station! Blessings to you- hope your day & night is wonderful. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree...if you are going to go away and leave your radio blaring in the yard, thank you for at least leaving it on a place that broadcasts beautiful music from God's Word!
DeleteBeautiful and I do love that song. Have another blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love it too, and this was so perfect for the morning...
DeleteBeautiful and I do love that song. Have another blessed day!
ReplyDeleteYes, Pamela, I recall seeing those angel clouds before, and absolutely loved that you included them here. And that is a perfect song to share as the sun is rising for a new day. I've always loved any and all songs by Chris Tomlin.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Thank you, Martha. Yes, the 'angel clouds' seemed to reappear in my mind and I had to find them to share again. God provides His beauty for us to enjoy in so many ways, if we just open our eyes to see.
DeleteI love this song-we sing it at church.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jan. I am so glad you enjoyed it...it is a very special song.
DeleteOh, Pam, this is simply beautiful! I love how you've weaved the words of the song with your stunning photos. Music is so helpful in our worship of the Lord.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Music is the language of the heart...when I want to worship the Lord, music always comes bubbling out of the fountain of my heart. Thank you for understanding this...
DeletePam: Such a blessing to see these pictures and to read the words. Thank you. Peace and blessings to you and yours,
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cecelia. Our God is so majestic...He shows us His love and majesty in so many different ways. We are blessed.
