Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!

An Evening Meditation: Sunset on Golden Pond
"O Lord, our Lord,
How excellent is Your name in all the earth,
Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
Psalm 8:1
"Bless the Lord, O my soul!
O Lord my God,
You are very great;
You are clothed with honor and majesty,
Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment,
Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.
He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters,
Who makes the clouds His chariot,
Who walks on the wings of the wind,
Who makes His angels spirits,
His ministers a flame of fire."
Psalm 104:1-4
"May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
May the Lord rejoice in His works.
He looks on the earth, and it trembles;
He touches the hills, and they smoke;
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God
while I have my being.
May my meditation be sweet to Him;
I will be glad in the Lord."
Psalm 104:31-34
Amen

" I was almost too late, but thank the Lord, still right on time for His marvelous majesty on display!"
He has perfect timing! :)
Pamela, I am going to miss seeing this place when you move.
Well, at the rate we're going, it may be a LONG time before we move, since they haven't shown the house but 3 times in almost 5 months! Soooo, we know that when it is God's timing, it will happen, but we are beginning to wonder if we have misread God's plan. However, I will say, that wherever we move, it is my fondest hope that there will be ample beauty to enjoy. God has His stamp of creation everywhere if we just keep our eyes open. Thank you for enjoying this place with me.
DeleteBeautiful! It is comforting to know that we will be singing God's praise forever. He is Light and He is Love and He is Lord! Hope you have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen. yes...we shall be singing His praise forever. All of eternity will be filled with our songs of praise and worship, and we will have even more glory to behold!! Jesus Himself will be at the center of all!!!

DeleteBreathtaking photos, Pamela! Thank you for blessing us all with these and the words of the psalmist.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I love how God puts His Words into our hearts and minds and couples it with His marvelous glory in His creation. We are blessed to be able to see this. Just imagine what heaven must be like!
