It's Thursday night, and tomorrow is
Friday Foto Friends day. I should be writing my post, but I really don't have anything all that exciting to share with you. This week kind of snuck right past me.
I guess I'll just go to bed and sleep on it and see what the Lord provides in the morning...
So...It is now Friday morning...and this is what I found in my walk just now this morning...
The sunrise peeking through the trees and a slight morning mist rising from the waters...
I was reading in the book of Hosea earlier this week, and there were several verses that spoke to me. I've been saving them so I could share them with you today...
Hosea 6:1-3
"Come, and let us return to the Lord;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
|
(Yes, that is a deer running across my front yard...) |
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth."
Hosea 10: 12
"Sow for yourselves righteousness;
Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord,
Till He comes and rains righteousness on you."
|
This is that same camellia bud I showed you last week.
|
Thank You, Lord, for Your mercies that are new every morning...Yes, it IS time to break up our fallow ground and to seek the Lord. May He come soon and rain His righteousness upon us...and especially upon our nation, we pray.
Amen.
As always, Pamela, such delightful photos! And the verses from Hosea fit so beautifully and thoughtfully here today.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I feel like I went for a walk in the prettiest country spot. Your camellia is gorgeous too! Wishing you a blessed weekend.

ReplyDeletePam, I truly enjoy your most thoughtful posts and beautiful photos. Thank you for pointing us to the Lord. The words of the Old Testament prophets, like Hosea, are timely for us today. May we truly immerse ourselves in the reading of the Word!
ReplyDeleteLove and blessings!
Well, Miss Pam! I signed into my Google account and now all of a sudden, I am recognized to make a comment.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty flower. I don't know that I ever saw a camellia in person.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the lovely photos with the encouraging words.
