Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!

Sunday Morning Meditation
Excerpts from Galatians 5
16. "I say then:
Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."
17. "For the flesh lusts against the Spirit,
and Spirit against the flesh;
and these are contrary to one another,
so that you do not do the things that you wish.
18. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23. Gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law.
24. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another."
Some Sunday morning meditations from the Memorial Garden.
Have a blessed and glorious day!

Happy Sunday. I like Mr. Bear on the tree and of course I always like to see photos of squirrels, especially ones demonstrating love, peace and joy!
ReplyDeleteThe meditation garden is so wonderful. I have so many plans for my garden but can't implement any of them as I can't bend etc. It is very frustrating to see things let go. But I keep hoping somehow I can get some things done.
Thanks for sharing positive things today. :)
I love the bear on the tree! Lovely photos to illustrate your message. Happy Sunday, Pam!
ReplyDeleteI had to do a double-take at Mr. Bear. I couldn't tell if he was carved into a placed on. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day, Pamela. Thank you for sharing your garden with us.
Beautiful pictures, excellent scriptural reminders... good, clean Internet reading!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed spending the time around your yard, and the Scripture you posted. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeletePam, thank you for sharing your Sunday morning meditations. If we'd truly let the Holy Spirit fill us, baptize us what amazing things we could do for the Lord. Reading Acts should be our wake-up call.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Thank you for sharing this scripture. Our pastor is using the Fruit of the Spirit as the scripture for our theme for 2018. These have been wonderful, Spirit-filled messages, each one chock full of scriptures.
