Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!

Now It Shall Spring Forth
Psalm 42
1. "As the deer pants for the water brooks,
so pants my soul for You, O God.
2. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?
5. Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him
for the help of His countenance."
Isaiah 43
18. "Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19. Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?"

Pamela, the photos and Scriptures touched my heart. As I couldn't attend church today, this was exactly what I needed to see today.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you!
Those pictures remind me of the hymn we used to sing. As The Deer "panteth for the water so my soul longeth after thee".
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post, Pamela. xo Diana
