Tuesday 4: Occupational Info

No, this bluebird isn't making a nest in this birdhouse...he's just watching the other birds to make sure they don't bother the nest in the other birdhouse.

This is my "occupation" these days...birdwatching!

Hello friends!  I know today is Tuesday 4  day, and I should be participating, but I'm feeling kind of yucky today with a three letter word that starts with a "U", and went to the Dr. to get some medicine, so hopefully I'll be better in a few days.

Since today's questions were about work I've done in the past, I remembered answering something like this a few months ago, so here is the link to that post, which should tell you even more than what you want to know about the work I've done in the past.  If you want to see what others are writing about today, you can visit them HERE

Meanwhile, I gave Lily Grace all the most recent pictures we've taken this past weekend to share with you over here at The Adventures of Lily Grace.  So please hop over there and see what we've  all been up to lately.  Here's a sneak preview:

We've been eating ice cream sundaes

and smelling the magnolia blossoms:

And watching the Sand Hill Crane family in the pond:

And here's a good little verse to go along with the occupational theme:

"Put God in charge of your work,
then what you've planned will take place."

Proverbs 16:3 from "The Message" translation

the New King James version of that says:
"Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established."

Sounds like a good idea to me!

Hope you all have a blessed day!

  1. So sorry you're not feeling well! Bless your heart, if it's the "U" I think it is, I've had that way too many times to count. All that stopped when I gave up sugar. Interesting, that. Anyway, prayers that you will improve soon. Blessings. xx

By the way, if I lived by Still Waters Pond my occupation would probably be bird watching, too!

  6. I have been saying long prayers before beginning reconciling the books at school. I like that Proverb you chose. I am going to pop over and see what Lily Grace shared.

  10. feel better soon, Pam! Lots of water and cranberry capsules would be my prescription, if I'm interpreting the "U" word correctly.

Those sand hill cranes are amazing!

  12. Pam, I always thought that my preferred occupation in life was to be a wife and mommy. Anything else was because I had gotten used to living indoors and eating! lol
