Friday Foto Friends and Thankful Thursday

Tomorrow is what we call "Friday Foto Friends", even though there isn't a real link up any more for our friends to gather...but many of us still do this just because we want to.  When we have something good to share with you, we don't want to keep it to ourselves, right?

This is a very lovely spot we discovered in our "journeys" around the community where we are hoping to relocate in the near future, Lord willing...

These particular photos are at a special park/boat ramp in a housing development where we are looking...

I always love to take pictures of the trees reflecting in the water whenever I can.   I'm pleased that these photos were taken with my cell phone camera, since my other camera is no longer working. Not too bad, huh?

This is what old Florida looks like...I'm so thankful there are still such places to enjoy the natural beauty of our lovely area...

I'm thankful for the hope that God gives us as we continue in our search for the right future home...

No, we haven't sold our current home yet, but we have had some close "calls" recently, getting our hopes up...and we have felt very encouraged that good things are right around the corner...

Here is another very special place that we have discovered in our journey...

We keep praying and waiting and seeking God's voice and plan in all of our searching.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NKJV)

11. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 

12. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 

13. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."

Matthew 6:33  (NKJV)

33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

Psalm 9:10

"And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;

For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You."

Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

and lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

and He shall direct your paths."

Psalm 13:13-14

"But I have trusted in Your mercy;

My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

I will sing to the Lord,

Because He has dealt 

bountifully with me."

Psalm 16:11

"You will show me the path of life;

In Your presence is fullness of joy;

At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

I hope you have enjoyed these words of hope and encouragement along with these beautiful pictures of the scenery in and around where we are hoping to find a new home in the near future.

Hope you have a blessed and beautiful weekend. I guess we are getting close to the 4th of July celebrations next week. I haven't even thought about it yet, and normally we have a big hoopla at our house. Perhaps I need to start thinking about something other than our house search/sale, etc., and see if anyone wants to come celebrate with us...
