Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!

The Secret Garden Chronicles: In the Beautiful Garden of Prayer
I just discovered this song and video on YouTube, and thought you would enjoy it today.
"In the Beautiful Garden of Prayer"
6 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Amen.

"My Savior awaits and He opens the gates to the beautiful garden of prayer . . ."
ReplyDeleteOh, what imagery this song held for me, and such comfort! Thank you, Pamela, for sharing yet another inspirational song that reminds us how important prayer and communion with our Lord is, each and every day.
Blessings!
I am so glad you enjoyed this. It was a blessing to me when I found it, and I just knew I had to share! Praise God!!
DeletePerfect. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteIsn't our Lord so awesome? He always has something for us to encourage and brighten our day.
DeleteBeautiful! Amen!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sis!! I am so glad you enjoyed this. I thought it was very special and just had to share. Love ya!!!
DeletePam, I know I'm reading this a day late. However, this is a great post for Sunday. After spending the morning leading (sermon too) worship twice, it's nice to have some time to unwind and enjoy the Lord. By the way, I preached on revival. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Would love to hear you preach! I can imagine that you feel the need to unwind and relax and rest in the Lord today. My husband is a retired preacher...and I know all too well what that is like! So thankful that the Lord is using you as His messenger. That is a very high and wonderful calling. God bless you my friend.
DeletePam, Is there a way for me to contact you privately? I may have a solution to your desire to hear me preach. :) My opportunities to preach are few and far between and to have it recorded rarer still!
DeleteBlessings!
Thank you, I needed that. I always find something here that lifts me out of my doldrums. Also, I am reading this a day late.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so glad this blessed you. It blessed me when I found it, and even though I had already posted something earlier in the day, I just felt led to post this too. Now I know why! Praise the Lord!
