Friday Foto Friends - Quick Post

I know it has been a busy week for everyone...it certainly has for us...but a good busy in many ways...
So, I don't really have any new photos to share except for these couple of bear shots (and friends) taken in the past couple of nights by our outdoor wildlife camera:

To our friend Terri Kelly D'Orsaneo....if you had just stayed a little longer the other evening, you might have seen this fella passing through!!!

Mr. Wiley Old Coyote passed through early the next morning...

And this must have been one of Santa's reindeer hurrying to catch up with the herd before a Foggy Christmas Eve eve...

Hurry Rudolph!

Oh...Here comes Santa Bear:

And there he goes back home again after a long journey!

So now we are just catching our breath between events...we have a large gathering coming here on Saturday for our annual "White Elephant Gift Exchange" post Christmas/New Year's Party...so I am off to the store to pick up a few things to get ready.  I hope to catch up with you all next week...which will actually be next year!!  Wow!! 2017 was a great year for us...and I pray that 2018 will be even greater.  God is with us...He has blessed us beyond measure...and we are truly grateful.

I'll be thinking about my new "One Word" for 2018...haven't come up with anything yet...waiting on the Lord to reveal it to me.  Do you have your new One Word picked out yet?  It will be fun to see how the Lord is speaking to each of us through this little annual tradition.  Not exactly a "New Year's Resolution", but a word that may inspire, encourage and teach us throughout the year.  My 2017 word was "Rest"...and in some ways I can say that I truly learned to "Rest in the Lord", but it was a busy year. Perhaps God prepared me for the busy times by learning to rest in Him in my heart and soul so that my body could endure the activities of the really busy times.  Yes, I think so.  Resting in the Lord calmed my spirit when otherwise I would have been frantic.  So thankful for those times of "rest".

Okay, right now I have to stop "resting" here and get movin'....Hope to catch up with everyone later.

Listening to this while I am typing..."Jehovah-Jireh cares for me"...  Powerful message...maybe God is speaking now about next year...

Let's all join Deb over at Breathing in Grace and check on our other Friday Foto Friends.  Be blessed my friends!

Jehovah Jireh, my provider, your grace is sufficent for me... Grace. Now there's a word... :)

I have been taking a blogging break, with no idea when it would end. Last night a word for the year popped to mind and I am writing a blog post about it now. Move. Hmm...

    2. Hmmm, "Move"....is that some kind of subliminal message? :) For you, or for me? Or both of us? It will be interesting to see how that word "plays out" during the upcoming year. I've been missing your posts!! I keep checking to see if "It's True" is still "true". LOL. Yes, GRACE...that is a word, but I think I already did that one a couple of years ago...(I have short term memory issues, I think...) Happy New Year...and I am glad you enjoyed the bears!!

    3. Not subliminal! :)

Move, like a mountain. Good move. God moves. I wrote about it!

I never chose a word before but I will see what happens this year. Nothing comes to mind right now.

    1. My trail cam was a birthday gift several years ago. It has brought us so much delight and joy as we see just who and what roams through our yard. It never ceases to amaze me! Yes, we do enjoy having friends and family come and visit. Sometimes it seems like a lot of work, but all in all it is so worth the effort for the joy that we receive in spending time with dear ones. Perhaps you will find some definite inspiration for a "word" for 2018. I have found it to be an interesting challenge to see where that word will lead me each year. Happy New Year Annie! I pray your new year will be filled with joy and gladness and good health and strength.

  4. It is even more fun for me to see these photos now, since I can picture exactly where they are in your yard! It really is way-cool to be able to share your space with the bears, deer and other wildlife!

    1. Isn't it crazy? To imagine all those "critters" passing by our house all hours of the night. I didn't actually show all of them...there was an opossum and a neighborhood cat that somehow manages to survive out here amongst the coyotes and bears and bobcats, etc. It must have 9 lives!

  5. Loved the photos, as always, Pamela. Yes, I have a word for 2018, but won't reveal it until next week. Hope the Lord inspires yours soon!
    Happy New Year!

    1. Oh goodie! I can't wait to see what your word will be. And I am still waiting to see what mine will be as well. I know God will reveal it right on time. I'm trying to be observant as I go about my duties and journeys...something will pop out soon I am sure. Happy New Year to you and yours as well!

  6. Le your wild animal videos! Super! I have also a one word: REMEMBER. You can read it here: http://ariellapersoonlijk.blogspot.nl/

Happy new Year! “Jesus said, ‘Lo, I am with you always.’ So be strong and of good courage, and do not fear or be dismayed, for the Lord God will be with you.” You can trust Him with the coming year!

  7. I didn't realize until you and another lady both pointed out that it was our last FFF for 2017. I always enjoy seeing the pictures of the animals that visit you at night. I was so glad to see that you got to meet up with Miss Terri. It's always awesome to meet our logging friends face to face. I think I have finally zeroed in on the word God is asking me to focus on in 2018. I'm still going to cling to my 2017 word though... more. Happy New Year!
