Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!

Abundant Life
John 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life,
and that they may have it more abundantly."
Come worship with us today, and sing along as our choir sings
"Eat This Bread and Never Hunger"
(be sure to start at the beginning to find the song)
Refrain:
Eat this bread and never hunger,
drink this cup and never thirst;
Christ invites us to the table where the last become the first.
Asking for a cup of water,
Jesus touched forbidden ground;
and the woman, with a question, told the world what she had found.
Refrain
Walking down a desert highway,
Jesus healed a man born blind;
soon the man became a witness to the truth we seek and find.
Refrain
Weeping for his friend at graveside,
Jesus felt the pain of death;
yet he knew God's power to waken:
living water, living breath.
Refrain
Have an abundantly blessed and beautiful Sunday!

Hi Pam, I love all the birdies! Our pastor's message today included the woman at the well. I have a old Home interior statue of the woman at the well and Jesus. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post and photos.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your last two posts are beautiful and uplifting, Pam, enjoyed them! Wow, those YELLOW BIRDS...what did you say those were again?---they are so pretty!! I love those, and wonder if we could attract some of those. I didn't think we would ever have bluebirds either, until we put out those worms they love, and guess what?---they finally came, ha ha LOL. I love watching the blue birds, well ALL THE BIRDS actually. They are amazing to watch. We do fill feeders for them and have several birdbaths they enjoy too. The pollen hasn't arrived yet here, I think you said it was there? Your are a couple weeks ahead of us here. I FINALLY saw my first of the year carolina yellow jessamine yesterday! I love it each year, and it is so fleeting, seems it's only in bloom for maybe two weeks and that's it! Happy Monday my friend, hope you have a great week. Tracie and Amybelle and I will be over to visit with Lily Grace later today ok. (ps--thanks for checking on me!) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love this! John 10:10 is my verse for the year...my year and word of abundance.
