Oh my! It appears there is another very special guest waiting in the garden beside the snowmen! This lovely angel must have flown in for a Christmas visit as well...
We are all wondering just who can these special visitors be?
The snowmen aren't saying a word...
Inside the cottage everyone is busily getting things ready for Christmas. Mother is still a bit worried that she won't have enough food and gifts for everyone...
They all can hear someone knocking at the door, but they are scurrying about to make sure everything is in place before they open the door...
The table is set for a very special Christmas tea, using the unique Santa Tea Set that is only used for special Christmas guests...
And they are so excited to welcome their special visitors, their lovely Auntie from the city, who always brings the best gifts for everyone!
But this year Auntie has brought a dear little friend, a beautiful angel, to help them celebrate the true meaning of Christmas...
And so they all gather around the lovely wooden Nativity scene, and sing together:
They have all been working as hard as you have to get their home ready for this special holiday! It looks fabulous and festive!! Thanks for sharing the fun, Pam! Merry Christmas to all!!

DeleteBeautiful. I did not decorate my dollhouse this year...I ran out of time. Usually I put up the villages, again, ran out of time...nonetheless, I will enjoy yours, smiles. Have yourself a very Merry Christmas. smiles
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda. I am glad you can enjoy mine from afar. It was a last minute whim...It kept staring at me like, "Well, aren't you going to decorate us for Christmas? What's wrong with you?!" So I decided I'd better do it. They've been waiting all year long for this is their first Christmas together! Merry Christmas to you and yours. Just relax and enjoy your family.
DeleteThis is a precious post and photos. Merry Christmas to you and yours! xo
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mildred. I just needed to play awhile...sometimes we big kids have to do that... Merry Christmas to you and yours as well.
DeleteOh my! How beautiful! I love your holiday doll house and know it is so much fun to get it ready for Christmas. I love the little girl looking out the window...that's perfect! And the little one saying prayers. I have a lot of dolls but not a dollhouse. I guess it should be on my wishlist. Enjoy this wonderful week! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I never had a dollhouse either until I found this one at a yard sale last spring...and it was calling my name. There are a lot of previous blog posts about it being a "fixer upper". It was fun, and this is the first Christmas in the dollhouse. I was ignoring it, but it called out to me again and said, "We want to celebrate Christmas too!" So here we are! Merry Christmas to you and yours.
DeleteCharming and captivating, Pamela! Merry Christmas to all!
ReplyDeleteThank you Martha. It was fun playing like a little girl again... Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family too. Enjoy your little grandgirls while they are still little and want to play!! We grow up too soon!

ReplyDeleteWe do Christmas again on Jan 7 as it is Orthodox Christmas and the Little's birthday.
DeleteAnn, Do you mean you will have a full Christmas celebration again, or is this with family that you haven't already celebrated Christmas? Or will you just celebrate "the Little's birthday?"
DeleteChristmas blessings Pamela. What a lovely little Victorian cottage, very sweet :)
ReplyDeleteDiana
Thank you, Diana. Just a little bit of whimsy and fun for the holidays!!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Cathy! It was fun!!
DeleteThis is so sweet and festive, Pamela! It is my first look at your Victorian cottage. What a special house it is!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mrs. T! I am so happy you could stop in for a little visit! It's been quite the busy little place here at Pamela's Victorian Cottage. I may have to write an update on all the happenings! Hope you and yours had a very wonderful and Merry Christmas!
DeleteAh, this reminds me of when we used to play with the 8" Muffy and Ginny dolls in the 1950's. So cute, what a lot of fun to have a bit of 'dolls' to play with. Please visit me at https://barbieoldnewgreenredo.blogspot.com/, I'm the one with the DIY doll house for my Grandgirl, but then started 'playing' myself! Happy New Year! Sandi
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandi, for visiting! I also had a Ginny Doll (I still have her!) and Madame Alexander dolls. Yes, they were fun to play with. I had a few extra outfits for Ginny. Happy Memories! I will have to pop back over and visit you at your Barbie house. My cousin and I created Barbie houses out of scraps of plywood panelling and homemade furnishings from boxes and anything we could figure out. We had so much fun with them. I wish I still had it! I do still have my original Barbie from 1960. She's not in mint condition as she was much loved and played with!! It's okay to still play with dolls, isn't it? I think so!! Someone needs to play with them, so why not us? Happy New Year to you too!
