Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!
Beautiful!!!!! xo Diana

DeleteThank you!! yes, Amen, indeed!!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Pam. A perfect illustration for the verse.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terri. It happened so fast...I was so happy they stayed "still" (not) long enough for me to capture this picture! God is always this close (closer)...and we just don't always realize it...
DeleteHow sweet. Butterflies and shadows. A wonderful scripture and photo.
ReplyDeleteGod gives little sweet gifts no one else can match. For a long time I wanted to see an eagle up close and personal. I was in high school and out with a boy. We parked to see a bird flying in the sky and try to take a photo. It flew down to the car and stood right in front of us. I got out to see this huge bird, and it was a big old eagle. Thrilling. He stayed a long time looking at us.
Years later I got to hold a baby sparrow or wren in my hand. He snuggled down and went to sleep in my palm.
Yup, gifts.
Oh, Annie! You are SO right about God giving us sweet little gifts no one else can match. Your stories about the eagle and the baby sparrow and/or wren are perfect examples. I have similar stories...A Barred Owl in particular. I may have to repost that sometime soon...it was definitely a God-blessing! Thank you for sharing your stories here. Arent' eagles amazing to see? I always am in awe when we see one anywhere near. "Yup, gifts". Have a blessed day sweet friend.
DeleteBeautiful, simply beautiful!
