Seeking The Lord - Reposted for those Who Are Seeking

"Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near."
Isaiah 55:6

"Ho! Everyone who thirsts,
come to the waters;"
Isaiah 55:1

"Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,
"This is the way, walk in it,"
Whenever you turn to the right hand

Or whenever you turn to the left."
Isaiah 30:21

"...He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul."
Psalm 23:2
"Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me
all the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Psalm 23:6

Dear Friend,
Are you seeking the Lord today?
He is very near...do not turn Him away.
Turn your heart to the Lord
and seek His face,
and He will hear you and answer you.
He has promised this in His Word.
Just put your trust in Him,
and He will guide you each step of the way.
Have a blessed and glorious day!
God is with you.

    3. It is a sign that God is speaking to me and you in the same verse. I am thankful that He has been faithful to hear and answer our prayers...this time by "staying in the old paths". God has spoken. I am thankful.

    1. Thank you, Kim. I am glad that this was an encouragement to you. It was a lesson in seeking God and trusting Him for His answers...and I am glad that He took the time to take me through it step by step so that I could find His answers to the things I was seeking help with. I pray it will be an encouragement to many. Blessings my friend.

  10. Such a beautiful and relaxing post to find here this afternoon as I visit with you, Pamela.
I have always enjoyed and been encouraged by your blog and the posts that you share and I have missed my visits here while I have been busy with mom.
Thank you for your visits and sweet comments in regards to mom and her health. Your prayers have blessed my heart.
Mom is now home but still very weak and in much need of care. We continue to look to Jesus for our every day needs and He is always faithful to provide that which is needed.
Mom has certainly come along way from July 2 and we are praising the Lord!
I trust that you are enjoying the beauty of this time of year and enjoying your days in your secret garden?
    God bless you~~

  11. Thank you for taking the time to write to me in the midst of your own family crisis and difficulties. I have prayed for you and your mom throughout this journey. So happy to hear that she is home and making progress. That is an answer to many prayers across the land. Actually, regarding the Secret Garden, I haven't been able to spend much time there during the summer due to the heat, rain, and bugs...but fall is coming and I will be so glad to return to its peaceful surroundings. I do wander through there frequently, but just can't sit for any length of time. Mosquitoes are venomous!! (We live in Florida). But the Lord is with me wherever I am...and I find that He can get His point across to me if I just take the time to listen! Thank you for visiting. God bless you dear friend.

    1. Thank you, Martha. I know, I enjoyed reading it again myself! Sometimes God blesses me with what He was trying to convey to me through what I wrote (under His inspiration!). I should say ALWAYS, not sometimes! God has surprises for us that we did not know about!

    1. Thank you, Barbara. Yes, this is near Interlachen. It is a very small lake, but we discovered this lot over a year ago and wanted to buy it, but it just wasn't in God's timing. Since then, the lot has been sold, and I sometimes grieve over what might have been...but we have to trust the Lord...He knows what is best for us in every way. I am just thankful He gave us the time that we did have there as we were blessed by His Presence in that place. I pray that whoever does finally build there will feel His Presence as well.

  14. Gorgeous scenery. Now that Christmas is pretty much over, you may get a lot of offers on your home. I sure hope you find something you absolutely love nearer to your family.
I am not painting the cabinets.. they were too expensive! I do love white cabinets though and have considered it. I haven't the ability to re-stain anymore. No, I was talking about the walls only :) which I Spackled in prepartion for painting. That in itself will be a monumental task for me and I will need a lot of help.
