You greatly enrich it;
The river of God is full of water..."

"The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The Lord is over many waters.

The voice of the Lord is powerful;
The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars,
Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon."
"The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood,
and the Lord sits as King forever"
Psalm 29:10
"The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace."
Psalm 29:11
Because our weekends are very busy caring for my 93-year old mother in law and other family/church activities, hubby and I try to take at least one morning during the week to take a ride or walk (weather permitting) to someplace nearby where we can spend a few moments to reflect on God's beauty and peace.
It is my prayer that you will experience that sense of peace that we enjoyed as you reflect upon these pictures taken along the banks of the Ocklawaha River this past week.
Truly He has given "strength to His people" and has blessed "His people with peace."
May your reflections of God bring strength and peace to you today.
Beautiful photo's of the river,Pamela. My daily bible study this morning was Jesus gives us living water and we shall never thirst again. These photo's reflect the water, isn't God awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is a wonderful thought to go along with this...Yes, Jesus IS the living water and we shall never thirst again...so beautiful. Thank you, Sylvia.
DeleteBeautiful! Definitely Florida landscape. The river is so pretty. I'm glad you and your hubby can carve out some time for that. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteEven though I sometimes long for the landscapes of the mountains and northern states during the different seasons of the year, I truly do love the beauty that is surrounding us here in Florida. We just have to look for it and appreciate what God has given us right here. The trick is to make time to seek it out...and sometimes that is easier said than done. Be blessed by friend. I hope your day is bringing you peace and strength.
DeleteWhat a beautiful place to go together and reflect on the goodness of the Lord and His creation. Gorgeous pics and you and your husband are looking good!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you, Nonnie. We are so thankful for the health our Lord has blessed us with...and we don't take it for granted. That is why we try to get out as much as possible and enjoy the fresh air and beauty of God's creation around us. May your day be filled with joy and blessing too.
DeleteLovely peaceful photos of the river!! Friday blessings!
ReplyDeleteThank you Terri! "When peace like a river attendeth my way....it is well with my soul..."

DeleteMuch needed time with your husband enjoying each other's company and God's beauty. Again, love how you combine His Word with your pictures. Thanks so much for sharing your morning. Hope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie. Yes, we enjoy any opportunity we can find to do just that. Sometimes we have to grab it on the run! I am a bit behind in communications since we were off the grid this past weekend and I've been a bit busy getting caught up. Blessings to you and yours.
