Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!

SONday Praise
Colossians 1:15-17
15. "He is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.
16. For by Him all things were created that are
in heaven and that are on earth,
visible and invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.
All things were created through Him and for Him.
17. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist."
Just a few pictures of odds an ends from our journeys through the forest this past week. I won't describe...just enjoy and have a blessed SONday, giving glory to God and praise to His Son,
the "Firstborn over all creation."
Colossians 1:9-14
9. "For this reason we also, since the day we heard it,
do not cease to pray for you,
and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will
in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10. that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him,
being fruitful in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God;
11. strengthened with all might,
according to His glorious power,
for all patience and longsuffering with joy;
12. giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
13. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and
conveyed us into the kingdom of The Son of His love,
14. in Whom we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of sins."
Praise the Lord!!
Thank you for joining me for some SONday praise!!

Wow! Pam, those photos are wonderful! Of course, the scriptures speak truth! Happy SONday to you, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terri. Hope you are having a blessed and peaceful day. Just hearing the news in Texas of that church shooting has caused me some real sorrow. Praying for those dear ones now.
DeleteYou take such good pictures and of unusual things. Happy SONday.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda! I just try to capture anything that strikes my fancy at the moment! :)
DeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe Pine Barrens here in New Jersey look pretty much the same as yours. Same with the Carolinas. The only thing that changes as you go south is palms, palmettos and the type of snakes, bugs and alligators! But the sandy soil and scrub pines, oaks etc stay pretty much alike.
Yes, there is a lot of similarities up and down the coastline. I could do without the snakes, bugs and alligators! But it does come with the territory. Also, no snow or ice...so that is okay. (Although I do love a good snow now and then...I do miss it...but not enough to live in it year round).
DeleteThank you, Pamela, for brightening my SONday with these amazing photos and beautiful scripture.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and all as the wedding approaches! :)
Thank you Martha Jane! And thank you for the blessings for this next week. It will be a fun and busy week for certain. I am trying to pace myself and not get too uptight...sort of...not sure I'm doing a very good job at that...
DeleteI am pretty sure there are hidden alligators in these photos!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sonday to you too, Pamela. :)
I think there could be too, but I didn't venture quite that far to find out...and I kept my ears tuned for their familiar grunting sounds so I could run fast...LOL. Happy SONday to you. Praying for the people of Texas right now. Such a horrible tragedy.
DeleteWonderful photos and some of my favorite scriptures. Love praying those. Happy SONday to you, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! I hope you had a wonderful Sonday, too. xo Diana
