Welcome to my "Open Window"...a place of hope, encouragement, and adventure as we journey down the road from "Closed Doors" to the new opportunities God places in our pathway. I hope you will take the time to go back and follow the trail of mixed blessings and fears, failures and triumphs from the past and side-trips in the present. Perhaps it will conjure up some of your own special memories, and be an invitation for you to share with others. I look forward to spending this time with you!

This is interesting. I never saw a mushroom with any color to it. We have ice this morning. This person stays in when it's like this. My girl scout cookies will have to wait. The young woman who has them for me and I have been messaging back and forth this morning. She has decided to stay in as well. Several churches in the area are suspending services today.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you are not able to get out today due to ice, but you are wise not to try. I am staying home with a bit of a sinus headache and a couple of other "issues". But the weather is fine...just a bit foggy, but now the sun is shining. We have mushrooms that come out it many different colors and designs...but this was just so unusual I had to share!!! Have a blessed day and stay safe and warm. Girl Scout cookies won't spoil too fast...
DeleteI hope you have a blessed Sunday, too, Pamela. It is amazing-that out of death springs new life! A miracle really- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYes it truly is!! I just checked this mushroom again, and it has totally disappeared except for a few curled over stems...so glad I saw it this morning before the sunshine hit it! God's creation just never stops being amazing!...Yes, out of death comes beauty and life!!!
DeleteI don't think I have seen any mushroom/toadstool that is as beautiful as that. Beautiful and a beautiful reflection too!
ReplyDeletePam, you certainly found a beautiful mushroom--I don't think I've ever seen one quite that beautiful. The weather here is a blanket of white fluffy snow--beautiful, cold--winter! :) Due to poor road conditions, I decided to stay safe at home to worship and not risk the drive.
ReplyDeleteSunday blessings to you!
Oh, wow, Pamela, this is glorious! I've never seen anything like it in my life. I wonder if those even sprout up here in Northern Georgia? Thank you for sharing this inspiration today.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
That is the supermodel of mushrooms!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my post. Was it in response to the commenter asking about wishful thinking? I felt a little funny about her comment and was glad to see you had some words of wisdom there. We never know what someone is thinking or feeling when they comment. Maybe sorrow...maybe fear...maybe just not being sure God is looking out for her.
