How many of you lisped this sweet table grace as a I child? I did. Brings back precious memories. It kind of covered everything, don't you think? Might be a good way to pray today as well...who said praying had to be elaborate and full of deep theological words that only deep theologians understand? Keep it simple...get to the point...

Oh,life is just a returning to the simple things over and over again, I believe! We make things so complicated and He never intended it...Love to you. Beautiful and perfect. Is it just me or have you done a spring cleaning here at your place?
ReplyDeleteNo spring cleaning here...just haven't been writing as much lately...been kind of busy and had a sinus/allergy thing going on so I haven't felt like thinking and writing at the same time. LOL. Yes, we need to learn to keep it simple...God already knows what is on our hearts and minds anyway...just bring it to Him and leave it there...He'll take care of the rest! Right? AMEN! (now, if I could just do that!) LOL.Thanks for stopping by. I'll have to go visit you next. :)
DeleteI learned this as a child and find God bringing it back to my mind often, especially when I get a little down. I am reminded to be thankful for all things and to be content. Since the birds have now started singing again, I repeat this over and over. I am truly thankful for God's grace and mercies!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about all of the above! today has been a super bird watching/listening day here. The windy weather has blown in some interesting birds. I thank the Lord for His beautiful world...and the ways that He blesses us on days that could otherwise be discouraging. Yes, so thankful. Amen.
