Thursday Thankfulness

 It's so hot I had to open up my own ice-cream shoppe and make myself a chocolate ice cream soda today to cool off! LOL.

It was fun sitting there on the stools at the counter, slurping away at my old fashioned chocolate soda, just like the good old days!

Yep! Ahhh!  It was good to the last slurp!
I am very thankful for our cool house and the ability to do special things to enjoy a hot summer day without having to be outside in the heat!

I am also thankful that earlier this week our son came over and installed grab bars for us in our bathrooms!  Here's hubby's bathroom: (and yes, I know that's busy wallpaper, but remember,this is a manufactured home, and that's how they come. I keep saying that someday I will paint over it, but that day hasn't come yet...)

This one is in my bathroom, right above the cute toilet paper holder that he made for me last year, and where his sweet wife painted the cute little chickadees on it.   (And yes, both bathrooms have the same wallpaper, and actually, we have a third bathroom, and it has the same stuff too!)
So thankful for smart kids!!

I'm thankful for these little tiny cherry tomatoes growing in this pot! I stuck a small pot with a tomato plant in this larger pot of geraniums and another flower, and I had intended to repot it in the dirt instead of leaving it in the little tiny pot, but it still took root in this pot and started growing and producing tomatoes even without me doing that! I can't take any credit except for keeping it watered. God did all the rest!

Sometimes even the most unlikely combinations surprise us with something good!!

And here's a couple of zinnia blossoms, still growing strong even in this drought!
Yes, I do water them almost every day, but I am thankful that they just keep on smiling up at us regardless of the weather!

I mentioned that the new house next door has sold, and there has been a lot of activity over there this week, but still no one has actually moved in.  They did, however, install a fence in the back yard, and brought in a new little shed/garage, to store their lawn mower and tools!  So that's progress!  I am thankful that they are doing things to take care of their property.  We still haven't met the new owners, but hopefully once they are moved in there will time for that!

I am also thankful that hubby's appointment with our doctor today went really well, and he really listened and took care of making sure the referral to the neurologist went through. Apparently someone in the office dropped the ball on that and it was supposed to have been done already, so he personally made sure it was done today, and we got a call from their office this afternoon, making an appointment for next week. So that was good news!

And here's some interesting, not really so funny to me stories from my childhood. (But I can laugh about them now).

These photos below are from the internet because I don't have any of the real deal to share, but I saw these first two on Facebook this week and it took me back down memory lane.

The Hay Wagon story, as I remember it, I was about 4 years old, and we kids were riding on top of the loaded hay wagon like this,  with our Dad driving the tractor pulling the wagon back to the barn from the field. Our tractor was a much older Farmall Tractor...not a fancy rig like this.  Anyway, when he turned the corner in the road to head for the barn, apparently he drove under a tree and a tree limb came out across the top of the hay and knocked me off of the top and onto the ground!  Thankfully I only had the wind knocked out of me and apparently there were no injuries, but to this day I can still feel what that thud and wind being knocked out me felt like!

Next, I saw this picture and oh boy, did it ever bring back THAT memory!  Yes, that could well be me! Again, I was about 4, and somehow I managed to go down to the corn crib by myself to feed the cows, or so I thought. But Mr. Rooster came charging out of the barnyard with his spurs on his feet flying at me, and I let out a scream and my mother came running with a broom and chased him off of me.  I understand that we had rooster stew for supper that night!

Now, for the last story...again when I was about the same age...our farm had a 2-seater outhouse. It was not as fancy as this one...

I remember it looking more like this: (maybe not that bad, but you get the idea)

And I'm not sure if there were actual seats like these, or if there were just holes, but anyway, trust me, it was a stinky old outhouse!  LOL.  However, our outhouse had a little gas heater in it near the door, because our farm had natural gas wells on the property (in Pennyslvania), and so I guess we had free gas and could afford to have a heater in our outhouse...and it was cold there as you can well imagine.

Anyway, on this particular day my older sister Doris and I went to the outhouse together. The door on the outhouse had a hook and eye latch inside to keep the door closed,  but when you went outside there was a wooden block on the door that you would turn and it would hold the door closed.  My sister said that if I ever was in there alone and someone forgot and turned the block on the door on the outside, that all I would have to do is push really hard against the door and it would open from the inside. Then she went out and left me in there and latched the door from the outside. She said she forgot and didn't mean to do it, but I've never been too sure about that. LOL.  Anyway, me being only 4, I wasn't really that strong, and when I tried to push the door open, it wouldn't budge.  So I started pounding on the door and screaming, and while in the process of pushing on the door somehow I got my hair caught in the little heater and it singed my hair, and then I really started screaming, and my mother heard me and came and let me out of the outhouse. Of course my sister said she was sorry, and of course I forgive her, but I've sure never forgotten it (and I've never let her forget it either! LOL.)

I share those little stories from my childhood to pause and remember that even then, God was watching over me. In each situation I could have been seriously hurt, but thankfully I mostly was just scared and perhaps my little child pride was wounded a bit. If I've never done it before, I want to thank the Lord now for His watchcare over me way back then.  He knew me, He loved me, and He had a plan for my life that a fall from a haywagon, an attack by a mean old rooster, and a hair-singed locked up in an outhouse experience couldn't keep from happening.  I am extremely grateful to God, and I want Him to know it.

This was true then, and it's still true today...

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

And this passage from Psalm 139:

Psalm 139: 13-18
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.

I am so very thankful for this knowledge...and for the fact that even now, in my 75th year of life, God is still with me, and He continues to take care of me...and He still has plans for my life...plans to prosper me and not harm me, to give me a hope and a future...     Thank You, Lord!!

I hope you didn't mind this little trip down memory lane with me. I wonder how many of you could look back at your life and see the many times God protected you and kept you from being hurt in serious ways that may have totally changed your life.  Or, even if serious things did happen in your life, (and yes, I've experienced those too),  perhaps you can see the ways He used those things for your good even still.

Romans 8:28 NKJV

"28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are the called according to His purpose."

Thank you for spending this time with me.  I hope you have a lovely rest of your week. And no matter what we may be going through, there is always something to be thankful for.
Amen.

Tuesday 4~Shall We Cook?

Shall We Cook?

Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 kept in memory of her.

Let's talk about food this week shall we?

Most people enjoy eating good food after all.

1.What is/are your favorite foods to eat ?
Lately that is becoming a more difficult thing to answer. My tastes and gastronomic issues keep changing.  The things I used to love to eat I really can't eat anymore...no sweets (or very little), no spicy foods and very little pasta/cheesy/tomato sauce dishes.   I find that I do better if I stick to eating about the same kinds of things every day...breakfast with eggs/buttered toast or grits. No jelly or biscuits, and I need to stay away from pancakes and syrup.  I don't like milk, so I don't eat cereal, but I do like yogurt and granola and fresh fruit, so sometimes I have that for breakfast, but if not, I will have it for a snack later. I also eat peanut butter with apple butter on cinnamon raisin toast (Pepperidge Farm brand) sometimes.
Lunch: I prefer a salad with lettuce and spinach, shredded cheese, maybe a little bit of diced deli ham or if I have cooked chicken I will put that on it. Marie's Cole Slaw dressing on top and also some craisins and a small sprinkle of Fritos. We usually also have some kind of fruit with our lunch, like cantaloupe, cherries, grapes or apples.  For supper: It varies. Hubby likes some kind of meat and potatoes or a one pot meal of some kind.  He also loves hot dogs and beans, so we have that at least once a week.

2.How often do you cook at home and what kind of meals do you make?
I cook at home every day. We MIGHT go out to lunch or breakfast occasionally, but not nearly as often as we used to. Just too expensive!  See above #1 for answers...we eat a lot of stuff made with ground beef, pork loin, or boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts. Hubby prefers potatoes or rice instead of  pasta. Vegetables vary according to whatever is fresh ...right now we eat a lot of summer or zucchini squash or broccoli.  Or  Carrots.  I would love to eat more fish, but it is expensive and I don't like to smell up the kitchen (LOL), so if I want fish we go out to eat it.

3. When you go out to eat what foods do you find yourself ordering most?
Depends on what kind of place it is. I like to order salads and seafood if available...salmon if affordable.
If it is a BBQ place, I will get BBQ pork, cole slaw, and either a baked sweet potato or fried okra.

4. Can you recommend a restaurant in your area? Why do you like it?
Well, my favorite place for special occasions is Corky Bells, a seafood place on the St. John's River. I've shown lots of pictures from there over the years. But lately it seems they are always so crowded and the line is too long, so it kind of takes the joy out of going when you have to wait so long. It is about 15 miles from us.

Here's the last time we were there, with our blogging friend Terri from "Your Friend From Florida" fame, with her son Joey and our kids. We had a great time together, but we had to wait several HOURS to eat!  Still, it gave us time to visit, which was wonderful.
It's a fun place on the river, and sometimes you even might see an alligator!

Oh, and I mustn't forget, a few years ago we met another very special blogging friend there for supper...Debbi from Debbi's Front Porch
and we also brought our special little friends Lily Grace and her Tracie and AmyBelle, who are "cousins", since Debbi is Lily Grace's special "Auntie Debbi" who actually sent Lily Grace to me in the first place!

I don't think Corky Bell's was ever quite the same after our visit there! LOL.

Other than that, we might occasionally go to Chili's for their lunch special deal, or the other day we picked up a great hamburger at a small local hamburger place, "Hog Wild Burgers and Shakes".  They are a subsidiary of the the former favorite Hog Wild Country Cafe' that burned and had to close, which made us very sad. They now own our local "True Grits" country diner, but it's just not the same. The other diner we have is Nanna's Country Cafe', but it is very small and doesn't have much atmosphere, but the food is okay and affordable. We may go there tomorrow morning for breakfast because it's time for me to have lab work done, and we usually go out for breakfast after that.

I guess that's all on this topic for now!

Thanks for joining in!

Matthew 6:25-27, 31-34
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
This beautiful Snowy Egret landed in the pine tree right in front of our back porch this morning, on Still Waters Pond
They very seldom land in the trees close enough for me to get a good look at them, so this was a real treat!
He was God's special messenger of "Do Not Worry" for us today!

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek.
For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Speaking of not worrying, we were able to get another appointment for hubby this week on Thursday, back with our PCP, and THIS time we are supposed to see the one we had wanted to see last week. We hope to pursue some further referrals/recommendations this time, and hopefully we will start getting some answers.  Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement on my last post. You are all the best folks ever!!  Blessings to all of you!!

Saturday Revue

 Is it really Saturday?  What happened To Friday?  I totally meant to post something yesterday, but like I mentioned in a previous post, the week seemed to be filled with delays, and yesterday was one of them. What I had hoped to write about earlier in the day never happened until too late in the day to sit down and concentrate and write, so it had to be delayed until today, and now it's getting late in this day too! LOL.

I've had chairs on my mind this week...and while thinking about chairs, this picture came to my mind,  as illustrated by Mary Englebreit for her book "Life is Just a Chair of Bowlies"...

Internet Photo...by Mary Engelbreit

I was going to attempt to explain it, but Google AI had the answers already there for us:

"People also ask:
What is the meaning of chair of bowlies?
AI Overview:

"The phrase "chair of bowlies" is a playful misinterpretation of the idiom "life is just a bowl of cherries." It suggests that life is filled with easy, pleasant experiences, like being served food in a bowl, implying comfort and ease. It's often used in a humorous or slightly sarcastic way to contrast with the reality that life can be challenging and not always easy."

Hubby being served pie, not in a bowl, but on a paper plate, on Father's Day, while sitting in his favorite chair.
Talking about life being full of challenges, and not just like a bowl of cherries (by the way, that was blueberry pie, not cherry), this past Sunday hubby was having a bad day physically and even though we went to church, he needed help getting out to the car and into the house afterwards.  The kids were all here for lunch, and although he went straight to bed, he got up a while later and ate something and sat in his chair.  The problem is, he was having difficulty getting up and down out of his chair, which is an extra large recliner.  I don't know how many years he has had this chair, but more than ten I am pretty sure.  So, the kids started talking about maybe he needed a new chair, one that lifts.  I started looking them up and trying to find an extra large chair that lifts, etc., but hubby said that he really didn't want a new chair. He thinks his old chair is just fine. And he definitely doesn't think he's ready for a "lift chair".   And yes, even though the doctor appointment this past week and review of his lab tests didn't show any major issues, nonetheless, he still has some issues that need to be figured out. It didn't help that he told the doctor that he "felt just fine" while we were there, so the doctor didn't see any need to refer him to anyone else...but since then he hasn't felt "just fine", and we may be going back to discuss things next week.

But in the meantime, while looking at the recliners online, I mentioned that my old chair is getting rather worn out and that it is causing me a lot of back issues because the seat is sinking and the chair just doesn't properly support my arthritic back anymore.

You've seen this picture before in a previous post about where I like to sit and read:
Yes, on the surface it still looks pretty good, but internally it is breaking down and if you could see me when I try to get up and stand up after sitting for about a half hour or so, you'd think something was really wrong.  I started calculating how long we've had that chair, and to the best of my recollections, we bought it USED around 15 years ago. It was in pretty good shape then, but that was then, and this is now, and lately I've had to add a stiffer seat cushion under me as well as a back cushion.

So, after further discussion, it was determined that I should look for a chair for me instead! Okay, that sounded like a good plan!  Rather than shopping in various furniture stores (where the prices are usually a bit higher), I started searching online. My sweet dil Rose, who works at Home Depot, said that you can actually order recliners through Home Depot online, and they will deliver them to your house! (Free delivery too!)  So my search began...and for the record, I was also looking for an extra large chair for hubby too, but the more I looked, the more I realized he really needs to go sit in a chair and make sure it fits him. He is tall and has a large frame, and the chairs I was seeing just didn't look like they were going to fit him even though they claimed to be "oversized".

However, I did finally narrow it down to one chair for me that was on sale at a very good price, and it even has lumbar heat and massage up and down the back!  Now that's something I would love! So after hem-hawing around and checking every option, I finally took the plunge and ordered the chair for me. They said it would be delivered on Thursday, which was fine, because originally hubby's Dr. appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, so we didn't have any other commitments on Thursday. Then the doctor's office called and said they had to postpone his appointment until Thursday...so...we called our son asked him if he could stay at the house while we went to the doctor in case the chair was delivered...which he said he would.  THEN, the Home Depot delivery people sent us a text saying that the delivery was being delayed and wouldn't come until FRIDAY! So, good, that meant that Benton wouldn't have to come wait for it because we would be here on Friday!

Friday came, and the tracking for the delivery said the chair was on it's way. Of course, they didn't say what time they would arrive, so of course we were tied down to the house all day waiting.  Finally at about 3:30 p.m. we heard a door slam outside and rushed to the door to welcome the delivery people, however, they were actually getting back IN the truck and driving away!  I started waving my arms at them to come back, and then I noticed that they had placed the chair (in a very heavy, large square box) on the ground at the foot of the steps to our porch! What??? They call that "delivery???"   I couldn't believe my eyes!

Thankfully, our son lives pretty close by, and so I called him and told him what had happened, and he came right over and managed to get the heavy, awkward box up the steps and onto the porch.  However, it would not fit through the front door.  So we had to open the box on the porch and take the chair out, which was in sections, and bring it inside and figure out how to put it all together!  There's NO WAY hubby and I could've done that by ourselves! It was a major job, and we are SO thankful for our strong young son who was available and able to figure it out (although it did take some doing, for sure!), and finally the chair was in place and ready for me to try it out:

|

Ahhhhh.....

Let me tell you, that massage and heat sure felt good!

Now, let me say that I am very thankful for this chair already. Last night I sat in it and read my book for over an hour without getting up. I used the massager for a few minutes before getting up, and when I stood up, I had absolutely no problem standing up straight and walking! I practically jumped for joy! I've not been able to do that for a LONG time!!! So, was it worth all the hassle and delays and craziness? Yes, it was.

But a few words of wisdom...if you are going to order a chair online and have it "delivered" to your house, make sure you have someone strong and smart who can help you get it inside and set it up.  I think we could've paid extra to have someone do that, but it never occurred to us that they wouldn't even bring it up the 5 steps to our porch and at least knock on the door to let us know they were there!

And btw, my old chair is going to be donated to our church thrift shop. Maybe someone can get some more use out of it, or they may know how to make the necessary repairs to tighten up the seat and make it last another 15 years.  I hope so.

Furthermore, I am still on the lookout for a new chair for hubby, but I've convinced him that he really needs to go to a store and try them out first. And then we will let them deliver it and set it up for us, even if we have to pay for it to be done, it's worth it.

Psalm 16:5-6, 11

5 "O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You maintain my lot.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance.

11 You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

The End.

(Thank you to Mary Englebreit for her brilliant inspiration!)

Thursday Thankfulness and More

A Foggy Sunrise morning

Good Morning Everyone!  This week is flying by in some ways, and creeping along in others.  For those of you who have followed things recently here, you may have wondered if my hubby had his scheduled appointment with our PCP yesterday (Wednesday).  Well, no, he didn't. They called us on Tuesday to reschedule it for Thursday, today, at 11:00.  That was frustrating, after waiting for two weeks to get the results of his lab work, and also to see the doctor (actually a PA) that we had met with previously. He wasn't available for the Wednesday appointment, and wouldn't be available the rest of the week, so we will be meeting with another member of the staff, (again, a PA), today, instead.  I am taking time to get this post started now before we leave for the appointment, and will update it when we get back home.

Meanwhile, on Sunday we went to church, and it was wonderful to be there with our family and friends. Our kids (Benton and Rose) were there sitting in the pew with us, and they also actually participated in serving Communion, and it was such a blessing to my heart to see them both standing there administering the bread and the cup to each person as they came forth to receive it. I wanted to take their picture, but thought it might be irreverent to do so, so I refrained.  But I think every parent understands what a blessing it is to see our adult children taking part in the worship service in any way, whether it be singing, ushering or taking up the offering, reading the Scriptures or lighting the candles during the Advent season, or just showing up! That is a comfort and joy to our hearts for certain.  We are very thankful for the precious, godly adults they have become.

And speaking of our church, our new church sign installation is finally complete and made its "debut" to the community last night:

"Sunday Service 10am"

I haven't actually been there to see it working in person yet, so I'm not sure how quickly these messages scroll by.  My thought would be that you'd have to be driving rather slowly to see/read them all as they scroll, but hopefully people will notice and get the message that they are welcome at our church!

Just a note...I believe the plan now is also to add some flowers or other plants around the base of the sign so it doesn't look so bare.

And then I guess it ends up with the current time. I wonder if it has the temperature too? I will have to check that out!

Anyway, it is our prayer that this sign will help people who are looking for a place to worship to take notice of our little church and come and visit and maybe decide they feel welcome enough to want to stay!  They will definitely find a warm welcome there and will hear the Word of God being taught and preached. That's what it's all about.

This morning I noticed something red over in the "Secret/Memorial Garden".

As you all know, if you've been with me for a while, I get excited when I see something blooming there...

Yes! The Memorial Rose bush is blooming again!  This rosebush has a "history", and lately it only seems to bloom a couple of times a year, so it is always a cause for celebration when it does!

Of course I cut the rosebud and brought it inside where I can enjoy watching it open and bloom. I added it to the vase with the other roses from the beautiful rosebush our dil Rose gave me for Mother's Day. It's the little things like this that brighten our days and give us a reason to "stop and smell the roses" and be thankful for what God has given us.

Here's a couple of other reasons to smile each day...
Sunshine and Blackie had a little visitor come outside to help me feed them this morning...

Yes, that's Lily Grace, and you can see that at least Blackie was happy to see her! Sunshine was more interested in his food to acknowledge her presence, but Lily Grace was just happy to be able to see them and enjoyed watching them eat.

On a fun note, yesterday I was enjoying reading many of our friends' blogging posts, and one in particular made me giggle and think about what I guess, others like me, tend to do during the day...
If you didn't read our friend Myra's "Respice, Prospice, A Cheerful Herald" post yesterday, then you can click on that link and read it so you'll know what I'm talking about.  I'm going to take the liberty of copying the internet photo she shared  here, because it just made me chuckle out loud when I saw it...

Why? Well, because it's just so true! LOL.  Especially this week.  Myra asked at the end of her post, "What interactions, if any, do you enjoy with your neighbors?"   Well, Myra, it's not so much the "interactions", but the actions of things going on outside our windows...It seems like this week I've been checking the windows frequently to see what's been going on out there.

For one, the house next door to us that has been for sale for so long has finally been sold, and early last week we saw a few people coming and going to check out the house most likely after they had their closing.  We saw vehicles coming and going and I kept running to the windows to try and get a glimpse of what kind of people they were.  I'd already been told by the person who sold the house that it was "an elderly man and his son and grandson" who bought the house. No mention of any wife or mother or woman. Natually I was a little disappointed by that news since I'd been hoping for some nice neighbor to get acquainted with and perhaps become friends.  I really couldn't tell by who I saw coming and going just who was who, but it does look like that's the case...an older man, a middle aged man and a younger boy.  Of course I've been watching every day for them to pull up with U-Haul truck and move in, but so far that hasn't happend.  I did see someone with a pick up truck and some lumber in the back yard, which looks like they may be going to put up a deck or porch, *so that's nice.  Time will tell as to what kind of neighbors they will be, but for now I am still praying that they will be friendly and pleasant and that WE will be good neighbors to them. *I just took another look, and it appears they are putting up a fence in the backyard, so most likely they have a dog. Praying it's a friendly, non-barking dog! LOL.

Meanwhile, across the street there is another little house for sale, and this week there has been some activity over there every day.
You can't tell it from that picture above, but there have been guys over there every day building that new porch railing. I felt rather sorry for them, because just when they'd get going real good, it would start to rain really hard and they would have to pack up and leave and come back the next day and try to get it finished. I think it took them three days to get it done finally. I told my hubby that I hoped they weren't being paid by the hour, because this was the slowest porch railing job I've ever seen! LOL.

And in the middle of that going on, one day the county road department sent out a truck load of prisoners from the state prison to do tree trimming up an down the streets.  They were cutting back tree limbs that hang over the right of way alongside the road, and they left little piles of branches in everyone's yards for the trash men to come pick up sometime.  Hopefully they won't wait too long so that they blow away and get scattered.  Anyway, you can imagine me standing at the windows peeking through the blinds and trying not to be too noticeable while the prisoners were in our yard trimming our big oak trees!  We are thankful for the work being done, and I'm glad we didn't have to pay for it!

And now for the news we've all been waiting for...yes, we went to the doctor's office this morning as expected.  The P.A. very carefully went over the report of the blood work that had been done on hubby, and he read through every category rather quickly, saying,  "this one's good, that one's good, this is good, that's good, that's good, this one is good, that one is good," etc., etc. etc., all the way down the list of all the tests that had been performed. There was only one test that showed any numbers out of line to what they should've been, and that was for a virus, but he said that was something that could've been there for years and will always show up when tested, and not something to be too concerned about.

So after all these weeks/months of waiting for results of MRI, blood work, etc., we want to give thanks to the Lord for this news. I am praying that hubby will start feeling better  and want to do more now that he knows he's not in any major danger. You know, when you get to be our age, every little thing can become a much bigger thing in our minds, and it is easy to become fearful of what "could be".

Philippians 4:6-7 says the following:
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

And now this is what I say:
Psalm 34:1-7

"I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.

4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them."
Amen.

I pray each of you has a blessed and beautiful rest of your week, and may God be with you always!!!
