I had dropped it on concrete a year or so ago, and it has a special compartment in my handbag for its safety. It wasn't there...I turned the handbag upside down and shook it, but no key. I cleaned out drawers looking for it...finally around 1:30 yesterday afternoon I started to walk by the bag that I carry water and walking shoes in when I go to work out with my hubby. I thought, "this is crazy, but that's about the only thing I haven't looked in" and sure enough when I put my hand in the bag the first thing I felt was the key! SO, my friend you are not alone! Thank you for the Scriptures you shared today. It seems we need to have things repeated to truly "get" them at a heart level. I'm not so certain that I'm not repeating things on my blog too. No matter what, we should obey God--sometimes that is easy and other times not so much.

In my Bible study this morning a verse seemed to be "highlighted"--thinking it's a good word for me as I prepare to preach two services Sunday morning, as well as teach/facilitate Sunday school. The verse? Proverbs 3:26.

Blessings!Kim Jollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08670842504983601263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756675007223295900.post-85750329538262505762017-03-08T15:01:37.726-05:002017-03-08T15:01:37.726-05:00Love the photos and love your post. I certainly understand your frustration with memory. You are definitely not alone. It bothers me too that my memory is not as good as it used to be, especially the short term part. I'm glad that God is with me and reminds me often of things I've forgotten! Have a blessed day.Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14483833008527417306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756675007223295900.post-33204662180094943862017-03-08T08:15:41.550-05:002017-03-08T08:15:41.550-05:00You are definitely not alone, Pamela. We all have...You are definitely not alone, Pamela. We all have those "senior moments" from time to time, when we forget the simplest things, but I do think your repetition of a theme at your blog is not a sign of dotage but a strong urge to share with us what God has placed on your heart. I know there are themes I've returned to again and again, just with a little different story line or experience.
And you're so right about God repeating Himself (many, many times!) in Scripture; He has to, as we can be such a stubborn and stiff-necked people. God is making His points, and we are to listen and obey. Such great company we keep, right? We can rest assured we're never alone.
Blessings to you!Martha Jane Orlandohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11620499267401065780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756675007223295900.post-65743806176884569232017-03-08T07:05:16.171-05:002017-03-08T07:05:16.171-05:00You are up bright and early this morning, Sylvia! ...You are up bright and early this morning, Sylvia!
