We are both blessed...to know our Savior and Lord, and to be able to share His love with others in so many ways...here on our blogs, and in person with our loved ones, friends, neighbors and co-workers. God is so good. Thank you for being one of my friends! I feel blessed to know you.Pamela M. Bearing our own cross can get so tiring at times, then I think of how Jesus was beaten and died for me and I feel so humbled. Thank you Pamela, for sharing this with us, you always say the right things! I am so blessed!Sylviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17029808502731853372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756675007223295900.post-46601914503079676852015-07-15T21:08:18.013-04:002015-07-15T21:08:18.013-04:00Every day is a gift from God. We may not always understand exactly what that purpose is, and it may be to just live the life we've been given...but to live it for Christ...and let Christ live through us wherever we are, no matter what we do. What more can we ask than that? Lord, let me live my life for You...and YOU will take care of the rest of the details. I am sorry to hear of your family's recent loss. Even when we know our loved ones are gone on to heaven, we still feel the loss of their presence here, and we miss them. May God give comfort to you and your family...and strength and grace for the times of pain and difficulties. Thank you for sharing this with us today. Blessings, my friend.
Pamela M. She is the youngest of that generation. She called to tell me another cousin of that generation had passed on, My one comment to her was rather sobering. Her brother and she are the last of that generation. She will be 66 next month, Her brother is 71. Agewise, I am between them. Her husband recently had a heart attack and is dealing with a degree of memory loss. We talked about aging but not about passing on.

I love this piece. It tells me how to think about things when I have times of intense pain or hard time with my respiratory condition.quietspirithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06086016141181470311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756675007223295900.post-78441750329203119592015-07-13T17:47:59.802-04:002015-07-13T17:47:59.802-04:00Praise God! I am not ...Thank you for understanding this Susie. I am not a person given to morbidity or depressive thoughts, but this was a sobering reality yesterday and I couldn't ignore the prompting to share it. Our lives here are like a vapor when we look at eternity...and we need to take advantage of every opportunity to share our hope with the rest of humanity while our vapor is still existing. And also take time to smell the roses, enjoy the pool, take pictures of the bears and grandbabies. Life is beautiful...both here, and hereafter!Pamela M. The younger ones may be surprised at how often we older ones have these thoughts, don't you think? I try not dwell there but a certain awareness is wise and helpful....as you illustrated in this gorgeous post.
