But the more I looked at it and admired how sweet she was, my hubby told me, "I think YOU are supposed to keep that little girl!" He said that he didn't think anyone else that I could possibly give it to would appreciate her nearly as much as he could see that I did...and so, he convinced me that it was not being selfish to keep her for myself. I guess I felt guilty for wanting to keep it when my first thought was to give her away...but hubby and you are right...she was definitely meant to come home with me.
