Moments of Grace: Sunday "MediCation"

SUNDAY Medication  MEDITATION!

For some reason, my fingers always want to hit the C button when I am typing "meditation", rendering it to become "mediCation".  Perhaps that is a type of "Freudian slip".  Maybe my "Sunday MediTation" is really a  "MediCation" for the soul!  Read these words discovered in God's Word this morning and see if it brings peace, comfort and a healing balm to your soul:

"Ah, Lord God!

Behold, You have made the heavens

and the earth by Your great power

and outstretched arm.

There is NOTHING too hard for you!"

Jeremiah 32:17

I stumbled onto these verses this morning as I was reading my devotions, and it literally thrilled my soul!  Especially the last phrase:

"There is NOTHING too hard for You!"

Then I started singing the chorus:

"Ah, Lord God"  (click on the link to sing along)

Ah, Lord God, Thou has made the heavens
And the earth by Thy great power
Ah, Lord God, Thou has made the heavens
And the earth by Thine out - stretched arm

Nothing is too difficult for Thee
Nothing is too difficult for Thee
Great and mighty God
Great in counsel and mighty in deed
Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing
Nothing is too difficult for Thee!

In Mark 10:27, "Jesus looked at them (His disciples)and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."  (NKJV)

In Luke 1:37, the angel Gabriel said to Mary,
"For with God nothing will be impossible."  (NKJV)

I could go on and on and list all the amazing things recorded in the Bible that God did for mankind that would appear to be impossible for man to do...but this blog is not big enough to contain even a fraction of His miraculous works.

Suffice it to say, if you need hope and reassurance today that God is able to take care of your problems...just start reading God's Word from Genesis to Revelation and you will see beyond a shadow of doubt that

"There is NOTHING too difficult for You! (GOD)"

I hope this has been a MediTation of "MediCation"  for your soul today.
It certainly has soothed mine.

"Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and
health to the bones."
Proverbs 16:24 NKJV

  2. Hi Pam! What beautiful photos for my Monday morning! I do think it's an inspiration to think about meditation as medication. It really is a balm for the soul, special time to dedicate to the Lord. He can do all things! It's up to me to let go of my worries and trust in Him.
    Happy Monday!

  4. Hi Pam, Your pictures are so amazing, capturing the beauty of God's creation. Since I have a fairly sizable drive to church, I get to see the beauty of God's creation each week. I like your thoughts regarding meditation as medication--it really does wonders (meditation) for our whole person!

    Blessings!

    1. When I was still working I also had a long drive to work through the forest mostly...and it was always such an inspiration. We are so blessed to have God's beauty around us, if we would only take the time to notice...and His medication to our souls from His Word. Thank you for being a blessing today!
